I always dreaded this day, when I will finally have to draft this farewell mail. After successfully completing 50 months with Capgemini, SBALAN and 11520 are soon going to become history. From the day I first stepped into the office as a campus recruit 4 years back to the day when I am going to step out of the office one last time, this journey has been one hell of a roller coaster ride.
I decided the time was right to move on in the pursuit of my dream and to achieve that I had to finally break this ever so strong relationship with Capgemini and the IT industry.
From the initial training period, breaking the record for the most days on bench, hours spent in cafeteria and pantry, SAP TechEd creative team, Active Reuse, Kellogg, Brookshires, Treasure hunts, Winning Quizzes, Cubicle Decorations, Winning every single internal football tournament with the SAP UNITED team, captaining the company football team, Dancing away to glory on Fundoo Friday’s and Jashn’s, Innumerable trips all over South India with the office gang, non-stop fun on the floor every single day and the lovely people who made this journey a memorable one, going to miss every single one of these. Capgemini for me has been much more than just a work place. It has been a second home.
The corporate world has taught me a lot in my stay here both professionally and personally and the education that I have garnered here in the past few years will hold me in good stead for all my future endeavours.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the people I have been involved with in my tenure here. Right from the first day I was made to feel at home, whether it was by a P1 or M4. My stay would not have been the same without all you guys. Every moment spent with you will be cherished for a lifetime. A whole hearted thank you to every single one of you.
Sport has always been my first love and it has been an open secret to you all. So I am taking the plunge into the world of Sports Management and hopefully with all your blessings will become a somebody someday soon in the sporting industry.
It was a very small world out there already and thanks to all the social networking sites, the world has become even smaller now. I am all over the internet, so do keep in touch J
PS: And finally, the subject line of this mail is dedicated to all those people who have bombarded me with this question from a long time now J YES, today is the day when I am finally leaving Capgemini and I am leaving with a very heavy heart. Honoured to have started and ended my IT career with Capgemini.
